It is time to flip the knives over in my planer, actually it is probably past time since it has planed at least 300 bd ft of red oak . It seems pretty straight forward per the manual, any tips, tricks or things to watch out for?
What about adjusting the out feed roller, should that be done also, it seems to feed fine.
I do not see anything in the manual about adjusting the in feed roller, is it adjustable or is it just a replacement item, when would it need service?
I guess I will do a lubrication at the same time. The manual says to use extreme pressure lithium grease, will automotive lithium grease be adequate?
