What is the difference between proxxon and the merlin mini grinders? Thinking of trying to do wood spirit carving this summer out side. Seems all disks are inner changeable and just wondering which one would be better. Something to do between golf yard work and grilling. Live in a rural area wood is no problem for my learning process, expect many to go in the wood pile. Thanks for any replies. Doug Williams

Can't comment on those grinders but I do have the Arbor Tech and I love it. Makes for quick stock removal and can be quite accurate .

Thanks Mark, have since found out there the same, different companies. Looks like a bit easier roughing out hard woods till the details. Thanks again
