Hi to all 'Creekers,
First time post here after a while as a 'lurker': particularly in the Workbench area as that is my current project.

I have a Zinken Compact 21 combination machine and have managed to break the belt for the power feed on the thicknesser. I have a new belt on order and am endeavouring to remove the pulleys etc from the drive shaft so that I can get the new belt onto the shaft of the motor. I have a brief manual that is no help with how to get this section apart. Any advice from anyone who has a manual (pdf to - pwidders@yahoo.com.au - I'm an optimist!) or assistance to get the bits apart and replaced would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I googled Zinken Compact 21 and it returned a link for a manual (in Italian I think?) on scribd.

Also so found this Aussie on another forum who might be able to hook you up.

(Not sure if the above complies with the forum rules, but I tried!).

Thanks Matt, I had a go at Dr Google before trying the 'Creek....an email to one contact, on the forum you mentioned, bounced back. I will keep at it!

I'd love to have a small jointer/thicknesser paired with a table saw under 100lbs for installs and site work. Making tapers on jobsites drove me nuts for years. A carpenter with a funny handshake advised me to freehand them. I was like, "no".
