I have spent the past several weeks building this playground for my two boys, and all their cousins and friends! My wife is an Architect and did the design. We started in January digging out the hill and building the retaining walls. I started on the structure in mid-May.The towers are 5' square seperated by a 12' ramped bridge. The main legs are 4x4 's. The bridge/swing beams are 4x6's. All the frame members are pressure treated with composit deck boards and hand rails. The angle braces are all half lapped and bolted together with 1/2" carriage bolts. Currenty there are 2 swings, slide, sand box, rock wall, rope ladder, two stomp rocket launchers, telescope and steering wheel. I still have to put up the monkey bars (adjacet to the slide) and the roofs. Thanks for looking:) .

Joseph, that's a wonderful playground. Your kids must love it. I can only imagine how much satisfaction you will get from watching them enjoy it.

Great playset, Joseph. The retaining wall doesn't look all that big until you compare the scale of it next to the Cat front-end loader and dump truck in the third picture. Man, that wall is huge. ;)

If I was a kid I'd be all over it. All day long. Hats off to both the designer and the builder!

You two should consider going into business with those units! The price for professional grade play structures is astronomical and you guys seem to have the talent to pull it off.

That is pretty spectacular. I am sure you have made some children pretty happy. Will probably be alot of time spent there this summer. I imagine they will all have fond memories of that!

Outstading! I have designed and constructed a few play sets over the years but never one as extensive as the one that you have just built.

Wow, that really looks great! I would love to build my kids something like that in the future! Course we need kids first :)
