Well I got a oneway coring system. But it's sized for a 24" lathe. l and I have a PM 3520. I'm thinking the posts and slugs inside the posts only needs 2" cut from them but would like someone's measurements from a 20" swing lathe. I'd like to cut it right the first time.

Sounds like you ordered or got the wrong one. When you order you have to specify 16", 20", or 24" lathe.

I didn't order it...I lucked into it. It's used. Looks like an easy modification. Just need a few measurements.

6 3/8" for the adjustable post and 5 7/8" for the fixed post both messed from the top of the base plate

Make sure you cut them short enough so you can tap and add set screws or bolts to the bottom for micro adjustment.

The nice thing is the knives post doesn't need cutting so the adjustment screws only need screwed in more. The post tube cut fine but the knifes tube is thick! Oneway said if I goofed it up they sell just the tubes. The mod worked great and I like the predictability of the core compared to the McNaughton. I used them back to back. The McNaughton is faster and less fiddling.
