Software / Driver Question

Hello guys,

I have been searching for some answers and can't seem to locate them. I need some help please.......

1. I have a brand new Shenhui and would like to know if the drivers are compatible with Windows 8? I went to Best Buy and they no longer even sell Windows 7.

2. Will the very latest version of Coral Draw work with the latest version of software that Shenhui provides?

3. Will the Corel Draw plug in also work with Windows 8 and the laser software?

4. I have a Mac and can load parallels if that is a better option. Thoughts?

Thank you in advance for any help and suggestions I may get. It is appreciated.

G'Day Michael, some of the (answers) are hard to find, hopefully, I can help.
1. yes the drivers work in win8.
2. corel x6 and rdcam v6 will work together.
3. no the plugin does not work (haven't found a way of getting the plugin to work myself).
4. sorry no idea, but someone else on the forum may know.

If you can install and run RDCAM/Laserworks and the program sees the lasers in w8 - it works.
The plugin for Corel does nothing barring exporting the graphic out as an AI8 file and starting laserworks , you can DIY
So long as your graphics package can export out , laserworks will be able to use its output.
