Charlie, I like both of these. The rim on the pot is wider and taller than I've seen. Is the form based on your observations of traditional pottery or more where the wood took you? The pyro on the cup is just right.

the pot is 6 inches wide by 4 1/2 tall. the blank was 6 x 6 x6.....I find that my continuous curves are easier and better with wider than tall specs......
