The inspiration for this came from WoodWorking for Mere Mortals. It is a wall hanging box to hold plastic grocery bags.

The clamps were given to me by my father. My recollection was that he traded for them. He was more of the wheeler dealer than I realized until later in life.
One clamp is marked 802 R. Bliss Mfg. Co. Pawtucket R.I.
Looks like they haven't been listed in the city directory after 1935.

Nice Box!
I have a few wood thread hand screws. They work really well.
I always enjoy seeing what you have going on in your shop.

Those are either big clamps, or that is a small box..
Clever idea for the bags, I think I may have to consider something similar this evening.

Beautiful clamps !
We have a large box on the wall at work similar to yours.
cut out a large mouse hole at the bottom of the front face.
That way the new bags go in the top and the old bags get continually removed from the bottom.
That way you never get a stale bag.
ha, ha.

I think we all like the clamps more than looking at Jim's work. They are neat.

Here is a shot of the bag holder close to finished.

Now it just needs a bunch of smoothing and maybe a finish.

I just showed this to my girlfriend. I now have another project in the queue.
Very nice clamps and thanks for the idea.
