I am in the process of building a treasure box with a rounded, box lid. The original I saw in a magazine was 10in x 16in x 12in with a piano hinge, no lock and no tray. Mine is 16in x 32in x 16in, has a full-length piano hinge, an electronic lock (thank you StealthLock), and has a jewelry box style tray that raises with the lid. I am having trouble finding a lid support that will hold the lid at 90 degrees and soft close, due to the box-style lid. Most supports I've seen are for flat lid boxes. The one support I've purchased will not fit because the tray supports are in the way. Anyone have any helps? I will post photos when I figure out how.
