I purchased a couple maple top workbenches on craigslist a few months back. I have finally gotten around to reworking one. I don't think it was too bad for what I got. All the legs are made out of 3/16" angle iron and the top measures 3'x5' minus the cutout. I gave $30 a piece for them. They did need a little work. I added wheels to ease the maneuverability. Here are the before and afters. There is a test area in the middle of the before. I believe they will serve a purpose.
