So I added a few more toys to the collection (Festool MFT/3 and RO125) and finally put them to use today. I used the TS55 to cut the bottoms off of two solid fir 8-panel doors to use as a headboard and footboard. After gluing up the 8/4 Poplar to make 4x4 posts, I used the RO125 in the aggressive mode to even things up. That thing can really hog off some material.
Plus I scored a lot of bonus points with SWMBO since I have been promising her this bed since 2010 or so.
