Here is a little ambrosia maple bowl this one is full of markings. It measures 7 1/2" x 2" with 3/8" wall

Wow, that is really beautiful! I'm a HUGE maple fan, and I love the way that the ambrosia highlights your bowl! Great job! Did you have enough stock left to make a matching goblet?

Chris I sanded to 600 and just buffed on the Beall.
Tom I do have some stock to make a goblet but have not made one yet I sold most of the ambrosia blanks on here and used the funds to help buy my new 3520a lathe

Another question Jim. How id you have it chucked on your lathe, vacuum chuck?

Yes Chris I used a Vacuum chuck to finish off the tennon. The vac makes it nice for finishing off the bottom and to get that last bit of sanding on the bottom too!
