Sometimes I wonder

When I pick and taste these beauties from the tree in my back yard. I begin to wonder why I build stuff from the wood. But then I think what a wonderful tree where it produces these gems and wood with such beauty.

As I understand it, the tree which produces our cherry lumber produces fruit which isn't particularly tasty.
