I saw this tool on their website and wished I had seen it when it was available and now it is available to order again. Won't be available until July but you will be able to again purchase one of them. Now I would to hear from the Creekers even though I know what you are going to say about this tool. It is very expensive but if you want perfectly radiused corners this will do it very well. The chamfers are not as important to me but would be nice to have on those occasions you need a perfect corner chamfer. I am curious is there another home brew way to make perfectly radiused corners without using this jig? If so how would you go about doing that? I always have trouble getting nicely radiused corners that are symetrical all the way around a project and I have tried several ways to do it none of which have been very successful for me. So what say you all how do you save a couple hundred dollars and still get perfectly radiused corners?

Neat concept, silly expensive. I think the most important question is how often will you need perfect chamfered or radiused corners? You can do chamfers with a table saw pretty darn easily using a miter gauge or sled.

For the radius pieces, make a simple jig with a pivot pin to hold a square piece of MDF (with a hole under side) and pivot back and forth at a spindle sander and get what should be a near perfect radius which you can use as your template. Just move the pivot point distance to the spindle sander for different radii. Use a bandsaw to trim away on the larger radius templates before sanding.

Their template/jig system is so overpriced for what the final need is and how often that need arises.

Woodpeckers makes some nice stuff. I have a few of their items which I use regularly. But I don't see value in a set like that.

i agree John that is why I posted the question to see if anyone had other ways to achieve the same thing without spending that huge amount of money on something that admittedly would not be used on every project.

Well I am in the WOW that is expensive but then again if I was in the business and need to make radiuses that would be a tool that would last for ever.

For my needs I just use one of these.

I think I am going to try this one Bill. I like this and it is a lot cheaper. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bumping this because its back again. Another "One Time" tool, and another that I would love to have but cant even come close to justifying the price they are trying to get for it. LINK (http://www.woodpeck.com/corner-jig-2016.html)

This is now a 3 time tool which means there is actually a lot of demand compared to other one time tools. I guess people who want a system like this have to decide if they are willing to pay the premium over the $50 Rockler version or $40 for the one from Eagle.

I have the OTHER version that Woodpeckers put out as a One-Time-Tool back in July of 2011 (it was re-released in July of 2015). It's a smaller version that works very well. If you see it come out again, I highly recommend it.

I like the shop made one. That one would be in my price range for a jig I wouldn't use much. I wonder why they took additional material off on the second side? If you measure in from both edges and put your bearing at that intersection, I fail to see why you would remove the material on the second side.

I agree. I actually size a use for this particular tool. And I have purchased a few other one time tools previously. But the price for this one is just too extreme for me to bite...even when compared to the normally high standards of the OTT's. I think I'll finally bite at the Rockler one soon. I was holding out for Woodpeckers to re-release this one but I just can't justify the price.

I would simplify it even further, I would mark the radius with a compass, cut it out with the band saw leaving the line and then sand to the line. You could replace the aluminum angles with just thin plywood, mdf or scrap wood stops glued on the side. I tend to enjoy watching videos like that where the attention to detail is a little over the top but I'd have the jig made as I described above in the time it would take make up the jig to make the jig.

I bought the Rockler set a while back when they were on sale, and thought they were pretty pricey for what they are. They work OK, although double sided tape works better for holding them in place while you're cutting.

I have the Woodhaven set as I use larger curves mostly but it would be ideal paired with the Eagle set to cover any need and still a couple hundred less than the WP set. I have many Incra and Woodpecker products but this corner jig is crazy priced although very well crafted. Even a tool geek like me must see the price as near insane! ;)

As it turned out, I was trying to put a radius on a worktable I was working on and it did not come out very good. Then this Woodpeckers' "one Time only" tools drops in my "in" box. I think to myself "hey that thing is pretty cool but dang it's expensive" Hmm, ain't that what credit cards are good for??? So I pulled one out and ordered the tool. On the plus side, the tool looks like It is built to last
