Hi guys,

I bought some of the Corian offered in the Freedom Pen forum. I turned a couple of pens this morning and found Corian a little different to turn (I a first-timer with this). Any suggestions, tip, tricks of the trade?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi, Chris and welcome to the FPP, I have turned a few hundred Corian pens.
I start with light cuts, when the blank is round, you can be a "LITTLE" more aggresive. Too much and the corian can chip.I've ruined a few. I like to make pens with it. good luck.

Keep your chisel(s) of choice especially sharp. Also, if you don't already have some, Micro-Mesh does a great job for finishing Corian. Most of all, have fun!:)
