I was working on a little project this weekend, I had 20, 1 1/2" x 3/4" x 30" boards with all 4 edges rounded over with a 1/2" round over bit on the router table.
So that leaves about a 1/4" flat on the edge of the boards, this is what I wanted but I also wanted to brake the edge where the 1/4" was just a little.
I do not have a 1" belt sander so the only way to do it was by hand, pain in the a$$ but it had to be done. After about 3 of the boards I was sure wishing I had a small belt sander and then the light went off.......
Got out the Work Sharp Knife Sharpener, took the knife guide off and there is a mini belt sander, it worked great, I was finished in no time at all.
It did make a lot of dust but I figured the saw dust wouldn't be any worse on it then metal dust from sharpening a knife.
