Okay, what is this wood?

I found this in my wood stash and can't identify it.
I have bought shedua and paldoa, and it kinda looks like those.
My stash is a mess; first from inadequate storage space and then from moving, so I am a bit disorganized.

It was darker and redder before I planed it. The wood on the right is african mahogany I thought might provide some context.

You win. Not that your are correct - nor incorrect - I have no idea - but I had to look that one up.

In Hobbithouse they have one picture that is a dead ringer; so maybe.
I never bought any afromosia, but it is entirely possible that the paldoa (or something else) was misidentified.
