Woodcraft Discount on Rikon 10-325

I'm looking at the Rikon 10-325. Right now it's $950 at Woodcraft with a 10% discount on the 2-day sale at the end of February. If I remember correctly, there is a better sale in March or April. Maybe Father's Day. When is the best deal? I want to replace my Sears 12" bandsaw. I bought it cheap and fixed it up. I'd like to move up up to a better saw.

Not with the estimated shipping to be $276.30!! That's to Southern California.

Last Sept. I picked one up on sale for $850. In Oct or Nov, it went on sale for I think $799. I also picked up an HTC-2000 mobile base that was on sale for $60 for it. I also checked out Highland, but over $200 to ship to SE MA.

For what it's worth, you won't be disappointed with the saw. I just finished re-sawing a 13" laminated panel and the saw performed perfectly. The only problem with the Rikon is the "Owners manual".

Stan, you should contact local tool dealers near you to see if you can do any better. I paid $700 plus tax for mine less than a year ago.

Its a nice saw. I think youll like it.
