I'm having issues (with corel draw) trying to break up an image into smaller squares to laser for 1 big mural. I've watched all the videos on how to do this and can get it broken into the separate tiles I want but when I try to send it to the laser corel draw x5 sends all of them at the same time. no matter what I try it doesn't work!!

Does anyone here know of an easy way to do this? I'm using corel draw x5 with a morntech 50 watt laser engraver.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I'll try anything at this point.

Is there a thread on here I haven't found that relates to my problem?

Thanks in advance, Chuck.

Once you have the tiles created. move each one to it's own page the size of a tile and print. Have you allowed for the tile's grout edge?

This is a fairly complete video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThOWjNOztzU except how to print..... each tile is it's own page

Thank you for the info. I never thought about trying to move each tile to a separate page, I'll give that a try tonight when I get home.
And yes I allowed for the grout I was watching the exact same video you suggested, it gives allot of information on how to break the image apart but like you mentioned nothing about putting each tile on a separate page.

Thanks again, Chuck. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/icons/icon14.png

hi chuck, in photoshop, i select the whole page then hit the transform selection command, that puts a x on the center of the selection, then you pull guides to the x and escape out of the transformation, you are left with centered guides. It is easy to line things up if the snap to guides is turned on. If my printer needs 8.5x11 then I start at double that size to get 4 pages.
