Twenty seven years ago LOML became my spouse (10 years after we started dating). She tolerates me and doesn't object to my buying and using tools. She appreciates her receiving tools as gifts. I am a lucky man!

Good for you! I think I have her sister. We have 23/33. Lived together since day 2.

It doesn't always happen the first time. I admire any couple who is able to sustain a relationship for a long time. The ups and downs and compromises that must be weathered and embraced are difficult. It is easier when you both agree on the important things and agrees to disagree on others. Time and interests together and time and interests apart are also necessary. I am lucky that she puts up with me...

The wife and I have been together 20+ years and married for 4, we have been through the loss of my Mother, My Father, Karen's Father, our 19 year old Son-in-law and my 38 year old Sister and are still as happy today as we have ever been. She's a great sort and puts up with my wild ideas :)

cheers

Congrats Shawn. Sounds like you two have it figured out. Keep doing it for the many years to come.

I took my girlfriend as my wife 45 years ago at age 17 and we still have it together.

Enjoy Life...
