Here is one I have never heard of. The local CL has a 'Junior Unisaw' for sale. It is an 8" Delta cabinet saw with a 110 motor, made around 1950, in running condition for $300. It's so cute, I want to take it home, but have no room for a third saw.

Have you got a small bench/table/cart? Get rid of that, put the baby on wheels and replace the cart. Then, that day when you think you need three saws for a job, you'll have it. Job done.

The devil made me go back and look at it again, then I checked all the ones on the OWWM site, daydreamed a while, and finally came to my senses. I just sold a saw to gain room in the shop, and here I am dreaming again, but it is nice looking at interesting tools.

Sometimes I think I would like to have a museum of woodworking machines from the past. Not the commercial ones that are so awesome, but the ones that would have been in a well stocked home shop. That Junior Unisaw, the Pedestal mounted Craftsman table saw, the Delta Saw/Shaper combo that was so popular, an assortment of early bandsaws.......

Back to reality. I am trying to clear out several machines I just had to have, to gain working space. A couple horizontal boring machines, an extra router table, etc. It's a sickness, when I see a super deal on something, I just can't let someone else beat me to it.

My name's Rick, and I am a tool junkie.
