I'm totally ignorant about digital photography, but I want to post a few pics here in a few days. I'm shooting on 35 mm film and will have the developer make a CD with digital picture files.

I notice that the pics here must not exceed certain limits in size. How do I make sure the photos I want to post are within the allowable dimensions? Thanks in advance.

John,

I downloaded this program for free per the recommondations of another Creeker. It works great.

I use it for posting here.

Here's another easy to use, free program that resizes photos for you:

This is about the easiest thing I know of. It ONLY does pic resizing, so if you need to crop or adjust color/brightness/etc, it's not the right tool. This is Microsofts free 'powertoys' page for Windows XP. They have powertoys for other versions of Windows if you search around. The image resizer powertoy on this page couldn't be simpler. You can do one or multiple pics just by right-clicking on the file in Explorer.
