I am looking for a good accurate Homeowner's version of a laser for parallel and vertical lines. Something that can set things like celing heights, cabinet heights and other things. Something that seeks its own level when set up. Any suggestions??? Not sure if this is the place to post this.

Not sure what you mean by HO version.

I use a PLS 180 professionally, and this is what I recommend.

Do not know what that stands for. I was thinking there maybe a difference in price for homeowner's version as opposed to pro version. Pro version may have more bells and whistles.

I agree with Leo. The PLS 180 is great. It will be expensive (upper $200's).

Someone on the OWWM forum recently bought a Bosch GLL2-50. It retails for around $200.

I'm still waiting to hear back on the Bosch.

Most important thing about a laser, IMHO, is the tripod, or whatever else you are going to set it on. Most camera tripods don't have enough height, and height adjust some other way than lengthening the legs is good.
