Record #148 Dowelling jig

Anyone have an opinion on the above mentioned dowelling jig. Or is it doweling?

Not sure which is correct doweling or dowelling are both okay by the auto spelling checker.

I did a quick search on > using the Record #148 Dowelling < it looks a little more involved than the Stanley #59 that I have used.

Most of the time my dowel centers are fine for the job.

Search > dowel centers < for sources. Likely in any well stocked hardware store.
