G0715P 10" Hybrid Table Saw with Riving Knife, Polar Bear Series®

Opinions on the new Grizzly ??

I just bought the G0715P a few months ago, the largest/hardest material I have worked with is 8/4 x 120" x 10 " hard maple, no problem, works perfectly. I like the saw very much. Added a shop made router table and a shop made add on(fold down) fence extending to 53" to the right. Setup on the saw was a breeze, contrary to some reviews. The Grizzly blade went straight to the garbage. The raving knife is thin kerf only (.097). Made my own zero clearance inserts from 1/2" starboard.

If you plan on working with thicker material as hard or harder you may want a full 3hp machine

There will be pros and cons with both models. Your preferences will define which is better. The fences are about equal, and both have full enclosures. The 22116 has beefy yoke style cabinet mounted trunnions that should be easier to align. The 22116 has a granite top, which will be heavier and rust resistant, but also a bit more brittle. The G0715P has a history of some alignment issues, that Grizzly has supposedly corrected.
