Anybody know if a Lenox Woodmaster CT 1/2inch will work on a 14 in band saw???

Where can I find a 1/2" woodmaster CT? The smallest band they make is 1" and it is .035" thick. It will work but will break after 30 minutes... like that guy using Woodmizer blades on a 14" bandsaw.

Laguna has carbide blades with a .028" band, and they regularly ship 14" saws equipped with them. The smallest is 3/4". Some 14" saws are sturdy enough to tension them properly.

That depends if the 14" bandsaw is that Delta cast iron clone or welded steel version. I think welded steel has better stiffness to tension a 3/4" blade.

My suspicion is that getting the WM-CT into the tension range it wants could be a challenge on that machine but if it's worth the money to find out, why not give it a shot?

It will break in 30 minutes. 0.35" is far too thick to bend around a 14" wheel. Woodmaster CT is really stiff.

By the way I also found the blades used in Taiwan (which also include carbide blades), not only it's vastly cheaper than even Woodmaster CT, it also uses a thinner backing steel (even for 2" wide blades) than Woodmaster CT. I intend to give those a try and report how it works...
