What type of lights would be best for inside a safe ?

I have some led strips for mine. have to drill a hole in the safe for a power cord though so I haven't installed. Curious what the others say.

Get a battery powered light.
Tap-on, tap-off.

Do they make a battery powered LED activated by a motion sensor?

Holy crap, they do! http://www.amazon.com/Beams-Battery-Powered-Motion-Sensing-Stick-Anywhere-Nightlight/dp/B002FCGI8Y

If anyone has or gets those linked by Curt, please report how well they work. I have different ones in my gun safe and they don't work very well. I'd like to find something that works better.

Those are pretty cool! Somebody buy them and give us a review. A three pack would probably light up even the deepest corners of an over stuffed gun safe, if they are bright enough.

I have some similar ones from Lee Valley. Work fine.

Those are pretty cool! Somebody buy them and give us a review. There are over a thousand reviews on this product on Amazon. You can get more information by reading the general ideas from them than you could get from one user here. One is actually a video review that shows the light in operation.
