Has anyone tried anchorseal for glue squeeze out? It looks a lot like liquid waxilit that they promote for squeeze out. I just always have anchorseal around. I haven't looked yet but I don't think it would have silicone in it.

Thanks Mike

I wouldn't.... but then squeeze out has never struck me as much of a problem. If it's a flush joint I just cut/sand it away, if it's an offset joint I will usually pre-coat the visible parts with tung oil and just pop the excess glue off before it gets too hard. Using any waxy product seems to me to be making more of a problem than solving a fairly minor one.

I would advise against it. Anchorseal tends to soak into the wood a bit. When I end coat logs it usually penetrates 1/2" or so into the wood. Penetration on the face of the board will not be as great, but it will still penetrate more that you want on a panel that has already been planed to final dimension.
