Hey fellas, I'm in the process of making floats for Side cutting planes but i don't own any examples that i can take the angles from. Can i bother you guys for some input on this? The more data, the better. I'm sure there are some oddities out there, but what were the typical bed angles for side cutting planes? I mean the cutting angle and bed angle. Thanks

My only information on this is from metal side rebate planes. They bed at 8º and the blade is sharpened at ~25º. The blade being skewed effectively lowers the cutting angle, iirc.

This may be too low of an angle for a wooden side rebate plane.
