I always wanted to build a wood car. In fact, I have the plans for a VW Woodie stored away for "one of these days." Here is a brilliant metalworker building a buck for a Ford roadster. Amazing woodworking skills alone, to be followed by equally if not more amazing metalwork. True talent.

Malcolm,

He is talented alright but his greatest virtue is patience. You have to be a patient person to be able to work through so many steps in multiple mediums to end up with an aluminum body like that. Once the car is complete I imagine that the wooden form would be valuable to someone else who was going to build the same body style so he can recoup some of his investment in the project.
