Best glue for tempered hardboard exposed to water

I need to attach two pieces of tempered hardboard together with zero seams as the hardboard will be exposed to water. The joined pieces will be used for a pottery bat (attaches to the turning wheel to hold clay). The only glues I'm familiar with are the Tite-bond series. Not sure if TB 4 is waterproof or not. The bat will be exposed to water but will have not be submerged. It will also have time to dry out between uses. The construction is simple enough that I can replace it from time to time if it begins to fall apart. We have a large number of bats made from tempered hardboard at the studio and none have shown any signs of deterioration.

The bats at the studio also don't warp which is essential. MDO might be a better choice as is Medex but I can't find either in my state, so hardboard it is.

I've not heard of titebond 4, but III will do the job.

TB111 is what I would use!

Titebond II and III are both weatherproof.
