What to do???

I have come across a 3 foot length of Walnut, about 8-10 inches in diameter and straight as an arrow. I'm looking for any suggestions on what to do with it.

I would knock down into quarters, and take four legs out of it.

Clean, straight Walnut is pretty scarce, but that board isn't really large enough to saw.
If you quarter it, and find wild figure, you could resaw for shop veneer.

Or you could set it out in a nice open field and wait for a hoop snake to come by and stick it with his stinger.They have enough poison in their stinger to make your walnut board big enough to build a house!
May have to wait a while they are kinda rare these days.

They have Snipe the size of Water Buffalo.
