Ambrosa Maple and Big Leaf Maple Burl Bowls

Last year I procured some Ambrosia Maple Blanks from Mike Cruz and he asked me to post a photo of a finished product, so here is a HF 12" x 5" with a little walnut collar. It's got minwax WOP buffed and waxed with Ren Wax. This is the best photo of the bunch I took, but it just doesn't do justice to the beauty of the wood. Thanks Mike for the outstanding piece of Ambrosia.

Then, I finished a BLM burl with a natural edge (lots of burl spikes). Measures 17" x 6" and finished with satin Poly and then sanded back and polished with beeswax. C&C's always welcomed.
