Chomp bowl

I wrote earlier about a Russian olive blank that developed some cracks as I was turning the outside. The collective wisdom here was to toss it in the fireplace. I elected to use some CA glue to try to hold it together. The good news is that it did not explode through the remainder of the turning, but I was careless and accidentally tapped my gouge near the rim and lost a chunk. It's almost a design element, as my wife so charitably put it, and almost looks like someone took a bite out of it, hence the "chomp bowl."
