Is there such a thing? I've been googling and googling (It's been 13 years and it still seems like such a strange thing to say, googling?) I have yet to find a partial inset cup hinge that is self closing.

The doors will be flat panel maple, partial inset with a 3/8"x3/8" lip, installed in a face frame style cabinet.

Anyone have any leads?

I found these, but there not cup hinges.

Perhaps I'm thinking of this wrong. My Aetna catalog has Salice Half Overlay 3/8", 110deg, self closing. I ignored these initially because of the image on the side of the page. It shows a half overlay door, not 3/8" inset though. Now that I think of it, that should work, right? Would it just mean that the cabinet member is set back 3/8" further than if it were used in an overlay fashion?

Blum makes them-as far as I can tell. They have a dizzying array of options to fit every door type. I would call a distributor who can guide you through-try these guys: http://www.hardwaresource.com/

I know them and they seem to know their stuff.

Blum says you can do it with their 170 degree hinges. Drawing near the end of this pdf http://www.wwhardware.com/media/installation/170_hinge_applications.pdf
