I don't cut many sheet goods, but do so every now and then. I have been using my table saw and it is a pain. I was wondering if there are any comments about the Woodriver guide rail system. I don't cut enough sheet goods to justify a track saw. Is the rail system worth the $80?

thanks

Bill

Haven't used it, but unless the saw rides on the guide and gives you a visual reference edge (and anti-chip rubber thing), I don't see much point in spending on something like that when you can get this old thing from Sears and other sources. It's been around for years. I have one. It's reasonably straight for a 2 part thing.

Aluminum is sold in 10 foot lengths in the metal industry and you can also just but a piece of sturdy aluminum angle iron from a metal yard and use that.
