I have a setup I want to put together with this 4" diameter groover but it has a 1 3/4" bore. I want to use it on my T40 with a 3/4 shaft so I need a 1 3/4" by 3/4" T bushing set for a 3/16" plate.

Any ideas or sources? I've looked for about an hour and am getting frustrated. Custom is fine if you know a place. We no longer have a machine shop around here.

Thanks, Larry

I would guess there is a reason for not selling bushings that make that big a step down. You could always double up on the bushings, I wouldn't though. A 4" cutter on a 3/4" spindle just looks wrong, like an F-350 on bike wheels.

I had Leitz make me some custom bushings for a 1-13/16" moulder head to fit my 40 mm spindle. They did a great job - very tight tolerance.

Thats a great idea J.R.. Mike at Leitz is a greak guy to work with too.
