Combined Router/general assembly table

I have been working on a design for a router table, but this weekend started toying with the idea of super sizing the router table with extra footprint as I am also in need of a general bench to assemble things on as well in my "dust" room. I would consider adding a vise and dog holes to it as well. I have the space for it but just wondered if there would be a reason not to combine it? Otherwise I may just pick up the HF woodworking bench for $139? Any feedback and/or opinions?

That would probably work. If you have a tablesaw, I'd consider building it into one of the wings so you could use the fence with it.

Here is the combination outfeed table, router table, and assembly table I built. I am not a believer in spending a ton on lifts and fences but one could easily adapt both to this approach. Inside the opening for the router I built a shroud under the router and ran a line from my dust collector to pull dust from under the router. It worked really well.
