Would any of you recall a woodshop featured in Fine Woodworking, built in Nashville IIRC? It used a PTAC air conditioner/heater. I've been given an almost green light to move ahead, and I really liked the layout, but cannot find my FWW issue with that in it. I want at the very least, a two car garage sized shop, and one that is longer than normal.

Thanks!

Mike

Mike, I think in that same issue there is an extended garage shop. The guy divided it into zones for machines, bench work, and finishing. I liked Matthew's shop too for the PTAC and all the rolling storage. Good luck and let us know what you do on the layout/design.I hope to be in a similar situation in a few years.

We have a GE PTAC unit. They are wonderful units. Be aware when ordering them you have to order each piece. So you need to order the grate, the housing unit, and the PTAC unit. You also need to order the power cord.
