My old 34-450 won't go all the way to 90 degrees, I have played with the adjusting bolt and blown out all the dust, unfortunately due to the way the router table is mounted I can't remove the top, any hints ??

Is the stop not adjustable? Most saws have some sort of an adjustable screw that hits a plate or adjustable stop collar that locks onto the threaded shaft to set the 45* and 90* 'stops'.

I guess that wasn't really helpful. Sorry about that. Calling all similar saw owners :o.

Check to see if there is sawdust jambed up in the ends of the trunnions. I have had that problem when I was ripping a lot of pitch pine, confused me for a bit.

+1 for this suggestion. Assuming that your saw went to 90 at one time and now doesn't.

+1 also. You might also check and see if a wood chip got stuck in the teeth of the gear.
