To give credit where it's due, I started from this design http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?142235-My-Dream-Router-Table and made a few modifications :)

The frame was constructed from 16/4 hard maple joined with mortise and tenon. The dividers are maple ply with a 3/4" hard maple face frame joined with biscuits. The drawers are 1/2" ply with 3/4" hard maple fronts. I put a slight chamfer on the back of the drawer fronts with a plane. The top is a Bench Dog with a Woodpeckers router lift holding a Porter Cable 7581. I picked up a 120V magnetic switch from Grizzly, and added a Wixey digital height gauge. The casters are from California Caster and lock in both directions. Dust collection is from the bottom so I can push the table all the way against the wall. The finish is 3 coats of BLO. And now for the pics ...

This series shows the pile of hard maple I started with and the break-down of the 16/4.

Very Nice! 16/4, wow, that's heavy duty. I believe that's the first timber-frame router station I've seen.. ;)

Sweet. There is enough mass there to squash any attempts at vibration. You can pass that one down to the grandkids.

Looks nice! I'm curious as to why you left the area around the power switch open, though.

I'm going to guess it for dust collection.

It was my experience with my old router enclosure that I got better dust collection with the door open as opposed to being completely sealed around the bottom. Leaving a gap around the switch seemed the most practical way to provide some air flow. It also allows me to reach the speed switch on the motor.

Yep, dust collection. The V dividers are flush with the other dividers which in turn are flush with the rabbit that holds the back panel. The idea was to try to keep dust from piling up in the corners.

Here's a pic looking from the front with the digital hight display removed.
