Suggest a Finish for Sycamore

Hi Folks, I have been given some sycamore and am making a dovetailed box from it. I have never used Sycamore before and would like your suggestions on a finish to highlight the unique grain patterns. Any photos you have would be great.

I made a jewelry box out of Sycamore. I first wiped it down with a 1/3 Poly, BLO, Naphtha mixture to pop the grain. Then I put four or five coats of padded on orange shellac. Then 0000 steel wool with clear or natural furniture wax to cut the shine. Buff with an old towel. Looked good to me. Try it on a sample of the wood you are using and see what you think.

Garnet shellac looks good on it also. IMO
