Returning from a 2-year hiatus from woodworking, I recently had an opportunity for a 30-day free trial of a CAD program from Cabinet Vision. While I make furniture, I am preparing to undertake the design and building of five rooms of cabinetry for a house we bought in August. This is a powerful design program and, for the most part, easy to use thanks to the links to "how to" videos they sent me despite the fact that I told them that I couldn't justify the expense. As a retired manager which included mall IT departments, I have an appreciation for programs that actually work.
