Replacing switch on g0675 j/p

Okay, I love this machine but one thing that annoys me is the switch. It is a fully covered switch that is a pain to use repetitively, so I'm thinking of replacing it with something more tolerable. Is there any reason I shouldn't and if not, what switch would you all recommend?
