I'm in the process of finishing a night stand with two inset frame and panel doors that are approximately 15" H x 10" wide. The doors are arts and crafts style with flat panels and pegged tenons so nothing complex. I'm guessing that during the glue up the doors were pulled out of flat and as a result, had a slight twist and bow. I don't recall exactly but the worst case was probably 1/8". This should have been a trivial process but it took me way too long to get it back to flat and square. Since these are small doors, I primarily used a low angle block plane, bevel up smooth plane, and a straight edge.

What would be your process and tools of choice to accomplish this? I'd like to better understand the process other's go through and what could have been done differently for speed and accuracy. Any help appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Brett
