I need to make small outdoor mounting bracket for an outdoor wireless access point and it crossed my mind that a small maintenance-free bracket could possibly be made from PVC pipe and some scrap Azek I have around. Will PVC cement permanently and securely fuse the two?

Matt,
I use Azek an Celtec PVC sheets for sign jobs and I have a can of the Azek adhesive which is the same stuff you use for PVC Pipe as far as I can tell. FWIW I have used Azek glue for PVC Pipe.

Perfect, thanks. I realized today after noticing a small snow drift on the roof that I need to make this larger than I'd planned and get it above the expected snow level. Playing around I came up with this which should give me plenty of glue area. Need to figure out if I can use small enough PVC to look good and still be rigid enough but if not maybe I'll use a piece of aluminum for the pole and still make the bracket from Azek. Figure there's enough glue area for epoxy to work well.
