Interesting tradeoff's Brian.............for the life of me, all the money spent on "bling" [jewelry, diamonds, etc] and it doesn't do a thing but just sit there...............a tool on the other hand can be used to make so many things!!! Well, I guess bling does do one thing.......it makes the ladies feel better for some reason! :confused: But now, a lathe, or a table saw, or chainsaw...........now you can get on to the creatin' and buildin' an............:D:D

One could certainly argue that for the person buying the Chanel Handbag practicality is the furthest thing from their mind. Having said that I'm firmly in your camp.

A co-workers eyes boggled at some of my tools and he made a statement to the effect that "sure would be nice to be able to have those, but well I have kids and have made other tradeoffs" - and then proceeded to buy a car that was ~4x the cost of everything in my shop combined :rolleyes: "other tradeoffs" indeed.

Mine had a whining problem, so I traded her for a F-350!!! :eek: I already had the 3520B. (Seriously) If you like her buy the bag. If you don't get the truck and lathe :D (Make sure you have 220 in the doghouse though)
