Christmas Gifts - Salt and Pepper Mills

Its been a while since I've spent much time turning, so I thought I'd crank out some mills for a few gifts. In all the things I've turned over the years, I've never tried to duplicate anything, so the biggest challenge was getting one mill to closely resemble the other in each set.

very nice, how high are they, i see maple and walnut , i think, what kind of wood are they

10" high. You are correct in that they are maple and walnut.
