I have made these Ring holder/caddies before and they can be a bit of a challenge to turn in one piece as I do them.

These caddies are a everyday used piece as I have seen in the ones that I know of, they are often used to keep safe the ring watches and bangles when dishes are done or in the Bathroom to keep these small pieces of jewelry safe while bathing or showering.

This one is made from an off-cut from a large piece of Spalted and heavily quilted Sugar Maple (with two wormholes) that I have had sitting for years already, and I decided I should use it, so this is the result, pictures are still not great :o.

Comments welcome as always :).

Leo, it made me think of a term I hadn't thought of in many decades - "the fickle finger of fate award." It's a nice one!

Thank you Steve :)

Just approximate sizes Steve, as I go by sight and the piece of wood I have that seems right for it :D, as these other picture will show, I never make them the same really ;)

They all run about 3.5" wide and tall, but some are a bit taller 277869
