So happy I found this forum!
But I have a problem. I've been using a Carba-tec mini lathe for some years now to turn pens and other small items and the lathe has been great but yesterday it started messing up.
As soon as I put the tool to the stock, the lathe shuts off. It will reset with the on/off switch and start again but will shut off again as soon as I start to turn.
I know the lathe has an electronic speed compensator and I think that is what has gone wrong, but I can't find any support at the carba-tec web site or any place that might have a replacement part.
If anyone has had this happen or knows how to fix it I would appreciate hearing from you.
email to pendragonpens@cox.net
Thanks
